Cheap Flights to Regina

Regina

This is Canada’s safest city – mainly because it’s where the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) training school is located. Regina is located in south central Saskatchewan, halfway between Calgary and Winnipeg. It borders the American states of Montana and North Dakota and is the capital of Saskatchewan. Regina is the sunniest capital city in Canada and is noted for recording an average of 2,365 sunshine hours each year. The economy is fuelled by agriculture, oil and gas production and development as well as telecommunications. Three potash mines, four sodium sulphate operations, salt, sand and gravel deposits used primarily in construction and a sodium bentonite plant are all located in Regina. Attractions for visitors include the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Saskatchewan Science Centre, the Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery, the Saskatchewan Legislative Building, Holy Rosary Cathedral, the RCMP National training center and Casino Regina.
