China Southern Airlines is headquartered in Baiyun District, Guangzhou. , China Southern Airline is the world's 5th largest airline by passengers carried, and Asia's largest airline in terms of both fleet size and passengers carried. It is also the 4th largest airline in the world in domestic passenger traffic and 6th largest in scheduled domestic passenger-kilometres flown. From its main hubs at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport, the airline flies to 121 destinations using a fleet of 240 aircraft. It is one of China's "Big Three" airlines, which includes Air China and China Eastern Airlines.  China Southern Airlines is a member of SkyTeam. The airlines's logo is a red kapok on a blue vertical tail fin. China Southern Airlines carried 66.28 million domestic and international passengers in 2009 with an average load factor of 75.3%. The airline reported a net profit of $52.5 million in 2009. In 2010, China Southern carried 76.5 million passengers, a rise of 15.4% from the previous year. This large rise in passenger numbers were attributed tothe Shanghai Expo and the Guangzhou Asian Games.
